Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing the Watchwick application from the Shopify App Store or authorizing its connection to your Shopify store, you ("Merchant", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity.

2. Description of the Service

Watchwick provides automated detection and alerting for operational anomalies, order delays, and potential revenue loss affecting Shopify stores. Features include:

• Continuous evaluation of orders, fulfillment orders, inventory positions, and payment transactions.
• Operational incident alerts dispatched via email, in-app dashboard, and Slack channels.
• Historical backfill and baseline comparison to learn normal store velocity.
• SOP runbook guidance and incident collaboration tools for store operations teams.

3. Merchant Responsibilities

To use Watchwick, you must:

• Maintain an active, valid Shopify store account in good standing.
• Provide accurate notification recipients and maintain appropriate permission levels for your staff.
• Ensure your team reviews and acts upon high-severity incident notifications appropriately.

4. Read-Only Protection & Safety Guarantee

Watchwick is architected with read-only principles. The application does not write, mutate, cancel, refund, or alter any store records, customer details, or catalog data on Shopify. You retain sole execution authority for fulfilling orders, managing stock, and capturing payments.

5. Subscription Fees & Billing

Watchwick subscription plans and billing are handled directly through Shopify's Billing API. All charges appear on your standard Shopify invoice in accordance with Shopify's partner billing rules. Subscriptions include a 14-day free trial period. You may cancel at any time by uninstalling the application from your Shopify Admin.

6. Limitation of Liability

Watchwick provides monitoring and alerts based on data received from Shopify and third-party APIs. While we strive for 99.9% uptime and timely evaluation, Watchwick is an advisory intelligence tool. We are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, or carrier delays resulting from network disruptions, third-party API outages, or unread alert notifications.

7. Termination & Inquiries

You may terminate these terms at any time by uninstalling the app. All store data will be purged pursuant to our Privacy Policy. For legal inquiries, contact legal@watchwick.com.
